MERCY TO THE POOR

 The goal of this bible study is to highlight a significant principle which I believe has been so ignored in the body of Christ. As it has been well noted both by experience and observation, one would agree that we have heard so many sermons on giving that the very word ‘seed’ seems to stimulate instant repulsion or nausea. The scriptures do teach on offerings and tithes, but the aim of this writing is not to direct the reader to splashing some so called ‘anointed minister’ with money, but to help perceive and comprehend the heart and mind of God regarding how resources were to be used in his house to execute true righteousness and judgment. My desire is for the reader to possibly bridge whatever gaps may exist in their understanding of biblical principles and perhaps discern the missing links to seeing divine results in their financial lives.  As Apostle Paul declared, we know in part, and prophesy in part. CHANGING WINESKINS AND GARMENTS

Mar 2:21 -22   No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles. KJV   Jesus made this statement to address the mindset of the Pharisees and disciples of John regarding fasting. Notice that he used the allegory of garments and wineskins to convey the concept of a mentality.
